We offer a range of English courses including Business English. This part-time course (10 hours per week) offers students who are intending to work in the UK or abroad the language and communications skills required to achieve success in their current and future professional life.

Business English Course:
The course focuses on transferable communication skills which are relevant to learners from a range of business backgrounds such as management, finance, manufacturing, sales and marketing, tourism and hospitality, etc. The core skills areas are meetings, presentations, negotiations, report writing, telephoning and email. The course also covers a range of topics appropriate to international business such as human resources, cross-cultural relations, globalisation, developing markets, IT, web2.0, recession & growth, etc.

Learning objectives include:
- Participate in or lead efficient meeting and negotiations
- Deliver winning presentations
- Compile persuasive reports
- Build working relationships and manage people in a multi-cultural environment
- Communicate clearly by telephone
- Write short, effective emails
- Use the internet for research and marketing

Admission Requirements:
Please note this course is only open to students of an intermediate level or above. Students must be 18 years old and should have business experience. Also, you must study for a 4 week period, e.g. 4, 8, 12, 16 weeks.
