General / Intensive English
Our General English courses are 15 hours of English classes per week. The Intensive English courses consist of 24 hours of classes per week. These courses focus on improving reading, writing, listening and speaking skills. They also cover grammar, building vocabulary and pronunciation.

Executive Individual English Classes
Classes are designed to develop the students' command of English in the four skills of Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing and are available at all levels. Through techniques such as presentations, role-play and discussions as well as a solid core of language work and grammar, students develop the ability to communicate more effectively in everyday life and professional activity.

Exam Preparation Courses
These courses will help you to improve your English skills in preparation for the following Cambridge exams:
FCE - First Certificate in English
CAE - Certificate in Advanced English
PET - Preliminary English Test

You can also receive training for the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) and Test of English as Foreign Language (TOEFL) exams.

LCCI Business
The English for Business course is based on The London Chamber of Commerce & Industry (LCCI) exam syllabus. The LCCI qualifications are recognised in Industry and Business throughout the world. The Bury Language School is an accredited LCCI examination centre.

ELSA courses are also available and we offer an au pair discount for part-time courses.
