Delta Language School founded in 1980 is a well established Spanish language school, open all year round. It is a fully accredited school with the reputation of providing a blend of high-level language instruction, a friendly atmosphere and a wide range of services.

Delta Language School is situated in the centre of Santander, Cantabria situated on the north coast of Spain, 40 miles west of Bilbao between Asturias and the Basque Country. Our teachers are all well-qualified Spanish teachers with a good knowledge of English. They work as a team preparing the course material. They take considerable responsibility for various aspects of the school life. They are motivated and interested and this benefits you, the student, directly.

During the course at our school, you will experience various different ways of learning Spanish. Some of them will be familiar and others new and challenging. However, you can be sure that every activity has been carefully planned and thought out.


Location and Facilities:

 

Located in the heart of Santander and just five minutes from the railway station and the beaches. The school has well-equipped classrooms with audio and video facilities, and a student common-room where you can relax, talk, drink coffee and read magazines or newspapers with other students.

There is a library with access to a wide variety of materials to help you practice reading, writing and grammar, at your own pace. Facilities include cassette players, videos and computers.

In our conference room, guest speakers give talks on language topics and on subjects of International interest that students often discuss later in their classes.

The School is open from 9.00AM to 9.00PM.(Mon-Fri). Students are encouraged to take advantage of all the facilities, including the common room and TV, whenever the school is open.

El Rincón del Tándem stems from the idea to provide personalized Spanish courses, aimed both at those people who want to learn Spanish from scratch and those who want to improve their previous knowledge of the language.

The school provides group courses (Intensive, Standard, Part-time, etc.) as well as private lessons.  Besides, the school organizes social and cultural activities where students can practice the language in informal contexts, discover the city, learn about arts and culture, get familiar with local traditions, etc.

Our classrooms are mixed-age and our student groups are small (from 4 to 8 students per group). That allows us to provide a more personalized teaching and to boost a closer relation between students and teachers.
