Enhance your artistic skills in a range of studio art disciplines with Metàfora, and take a definitive step towards a exciting career in the world of fine arts! Located in the vibrant and inspiring city of Barcelona in Spain, Metàfora is an international fine arts school that welcomes artists and art students from around the world. We provide a full-time studio arts course taught in English called "The International Workshop". We also offer academic year Art Therapy classes taught in Spanish, as well as short-term programs, and summer art courses taught in English. Students may choose to study from 6 weeks to 4 years, and we welcome an average of 25-30 students each academic year.

The International Workshop Program:
- Full-time studio arts course (taught in English) with 4 levels / entry points:

• Foundation Program in Studio Arts (6-7 week blocks, for beginners)
• Certificate in Studio Arts (Training Program year 1)
• Diploma in Studio Arts (Training Program year 2)
• Advanced Diploma in Studio Arts (Training Program year 3)

All of these levels can be undertaken independently (admission according to general admission requirements).

Art Therapy Courses:
• Masters & Postgraduate Diploma in Art Therapy (taught in Spanish)
• Initial Diploma in Art Therapy (Spanish)
• Summer Intensive Art Therapy Course (2-week course taught in English and Spanish)
