About Patrizia Saglio - Director of Collina Italiana:

Photo of Italian Tutor in Manhattan, NYCCollina Italiana director, Patrizia Saglio, welcomes you to a unique language program in an authentic Italian setting in which you'll learn the Italian spoken today and discover the contemporary culture of Italy through film, lectures, conversation, outings, and more.

Patrizia was born in Lugano, Switzerland and grew up speaking Italian, French, and German. She graduated in political science from the prestigious Universita' Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan, where she worked for several years as an assistant professor and private teacher of Italian and French to college students and in international corporations. Patrizia moved to New York in 1998 and after a stint as co-owner and manager of an international trade company she decided to open an Italian language and cultural center on the upper east side of Manhattan in 2006.

Language Intensive Workshop:
Our Language Intensive Workshop is a 2-week intensive workshop for travelers and business people (3-5 students per class). Classes meet four times a week from 6:30 - 8:30 pm. It is an intensive language and culture program that prepares you in Italian for both business and pleasure. Registration is ongoing.
