Digital Media and Arts Research Centre, The University of Limerick: The Digital Media and Arts Research Centre is an internationally-recognised leader in advanced music technology education and research and is part of The University of Limerick, Ireland. Fusing computer science, electronic music and the digital arts, DMARC is situated in the Dept. of Computer Science and Information Systems. The centre aims to expand and strengthen the encounter between digital technology and creativity through research, teaching and first class facilities.
BSc in Music Media & Performance Technology (Four year course) The BSc in Music, Media & Performance Technology will develop the technical and creative skills required to be successful media practitioners in both the music and media industries. It involves both small group and individual tuition to develop digital instrumental and media skills, as well as seminar, class and laboratory-based learning. The course emphasises the principles and application of digital media practice.
The aim of the programme is to equip students with degree level competence in music, media and performance technologies who, on graduation, will be capable of making a significant contribution to the continuing development and growth of the Digital Arts, the Music Technology and Media industries and more broadly across other sectors that use digital media technologies.
MA / MSc in Music Technology (12 Months Full-time course) The Master's Degree in Music Technology is a 12-month intensive course that is designed specifically for those with a special interest in electronic/computer music, composition, sound design and sound art. The course is aimed at graduates who are interested in combining technological competence with artistic endeavour. Subjects covered include:

The National College of Art and Design in Dublin, Ireland occupies a unique position in art and design education in Ireland.
