Our staff is made up of young, enthusiastic, qualified professionals with teaching experience and a good knowledge of at least two foreign languages, besides Italian.
"GENERAL COURSE"
Elementary, Pre-Intermediate, Intermediate and Advanced Course are proposed.
The Course takes place every day from Monday to Friday and is composed of 4 daily Lessons, generally in the morning from 9.15 a.m. until 12.55 p.m. The work carried out in the first part of the morning regards fundamentally grammar and language use .
The second part is dedicated to conversation, listening , group activity and games.
The aims of the course are therefore:
Develop the basic four language capacities (speaking , listening, reading, writing)
With particular emphasis, as said before, on improving and strengthening the security and fluency in speaking the language.
Stimulate the students to understand the correct role of the language through real situations.
Encourage the use of the language by team work.
Improve the students' capacity to communicate through self-study, also using educational material and the language laboratory provided by the school.
"COMBINED COURSE"
Elementary, Pre-intermediate, Intermediate and Advanced courses are proposed.
The Combined Course is composed of 4 lessons of "General Course" in the morning (or afternoon) every day from Monday to Friday, plus 1 individual lesson each day. This course permits a combination of the advantages of a group course with one to one lesson with the teacher. The benefit is having the possibility to organise freely the individual lesson in agreement with the teacher and at the same time be able to draw the maximum benefits from attending a "group" course.
"ITALIAN + WATER SPORTS"
These activities are combined with above-mentioned courses. The Italian course+water sports is made up of 4 lessons in the General Course in the morning (or afternoon) every day from Monday to Friday.
There is a choice of lessons between sailing, windsurf, or scuba diving, these can be done every week day or every second day. The sailing and scuba diving lessons are carried out in a yacht club in the heart of tourist port in Alghero, only 2 minutes on foot from the school. They are carried out by qualified instructors who possess a licence issued by the Italian Sailing Federation.
For those who choose windsurf as a water sport, aswsociated to the General Course, the lessons are held at the Alghero Lido near the splendid beach of "Maria Pia".
"ITALIAN+ TENNIS"
This activity is combined with the above mentioned course.
The Italian Course + tennis is made up of 4 lessons in the General Course in the morning (or afternoon) every day from Monday to Friday + tennis lessons at the Alghero tennis club.
The tennis lessons are held on cement beaten earth courts by Federal instructors, "FIT", normally in the evening after 6p.m.
(each lesson lasts about 2 hours on Monday , Wednesday and Friday).
"ITALIAN + COOKERY"
This activity is combined with the above-mentioned courses. The Italian Course + Cookery is made up of 4 lessons in the General Course in the morning ( or afternoon) every day from Monday to Friday + pratical cookery lessons, twice a week, directly in the student's home!
