Study Photography in Florence, Italy:
Our photography course can be taken alone or in combination with our Italian langu
age courses. This beginner's course in digital and analog photography begins with the basics of photography: understanding the camera and how it works (the light meter, aperture, shutter and film speeds) as well as the use of the darkroom (developing film, printing photographs, enlarging, techniques for correcting exposure, etc.).
Progressively the students will study the techniques of composition and framing and will analyze problems concerning film sensitivity, grain, and the use of filters and other corrective devices.
During the classes many photographs by renowned photographers will be studied allowing the teacher to provide technical input regarding which camera was used in which conditions and why that process was chosen, as well as more subjective analysis such as what is the photographer trying to express. With plenty of theoretical input students will be ready to start taking their own photos and presenting them in class for a thorough analysis in order to make the necessary improvements or changes or simply compliment good choices made by the student.

The Florence Art Studio

The Florence Art Studio offers custom-made, intensive art courses in drawing and painting for students of all levels and backgrounds in the heart of Florence city center.Taught entirely in English, our intensive Art Program is divided into 6 separate modules covering drawing & painting skills, with each module serving as the foundation for the next. Alternatively, you can choose to take any module as a stand-alone course, from one week to a month or longer.
We help students achieve their goals in the most time-effective way possible through intensive individual training and one on one instruction.

We offer jewelry design classes and training courses in computer jewelry design and technical drawing.
