Each year, our International Youth Summer School offers a range of summer English courses for children and teenagers from around the world. Our summer programs are designed for students aged between 12-17 and take place in June, July and August. Student start dates are flexible and courses are based on 2, 3 or 4 week stays.

Classic Summer English Course (15 hours English tuition plus activities)
Photo of Summer English Courses in Dublin IrelandOur Classic Junior Programme combines 15 hours of English tuition per week with cultural and sporting activities in our ideal location of Malahide, Dublin. This is our most popular junior English programme and has been running for over 15 years. It attracts teenagers from all over the world and runs each year from June to the end of August. We offer our students an exceptional learning experience in our modern, friendly school.

Summer English Course Schedule:
- 15 hours English Tuition per week: Mon - Fri 8.45am - 12.00pm
- Packed Lunch at School:  12.00pm - 12.30pm
- 5 Afternoon Activities per week:  12.30pm - 5.00 pm
- Full Day Saturday Excursion
- Evening Disco / Irish Dancing

Intensive Summer English Course (24 hours English tuition plus activities)
Our Intensive Junior Programme combines intensive English tuition with cultural and sporting activities in our ideal location of Swords, Dublin. It is aimed at students wishing to concentrate on teacher-led learning and make the most of their time in Ireland by having 24 hours of English classes per week. This programme attracts teenagers from all over the world and runs each year in July & August.

These programmes combine 15 hours English Language tuition in the mornings and sporting activities with local clubs in the afternoon. In addition, students have two cultural trips per week. This programme is the ideal way for students to fully immerse themselves in the language by interacting with Irish teenagers and meeting new friends while improving their sports' skill. These programmes run for specific 2 week periods during the summer but are open to groups throughout the year.

- English & Sailing (15 hours English tuition, 12 hours Sailing, 2 cultural trips per week)
This summer program takes place in our Malahide centre. Students take part in the Classic Junior Summer School tuition programme and then in the afternoons attend the sailing programme with Irish teenagers. Each afternoon will include 3 hours of multi activity sailing. All levels can be catered for from total beginner to advanced and all instructors are Qualified ISA (Irish Sailing Association) instructors. In addition to English language tuition and sailing, students will take part in Saturday cultural tours.

- English & Golf (15 hours English tuition, 12 hours Golf, 2 cultural trips per week)
We run our English and Golf Programme from our Malahide school. Students take part in the Classic Junior Summer School tuition programme and then in the afternoons receive golf lessons. Students are divided into groups of 8 students and will receive individual golf instruction from qualified PGA professional instructors. The courses and training facilities used are only a 10 minute journey from our centre. In addition to English language tuition, we offer students a range of cultural and recreational activities. These include trips to Trinity College, Guinness Storehouse, Kilmainham Gaol etc.

- English & Horse-riding (15 hours English tuition, 12 hours Horseriding, 2 cultural trips per week)
ICE runs this summer program from our Swords school. Students take part in the Classic Junior Summer School tuition programme and there is one hour of riding under instruction each afternoon and 2 hours of horse and stable management. We cater for riders of all abilities and qualified instruction and suitable horses and ponies for all standards and ages are provided. Participants are divided into groups of 8 and have their own instructor. Riders are encouraged to extend their equine knowledge to include all aspects of horse care and handling.

During the summer months Learning-Experiences-Ireland offers a unique Study English and Music in Ireland - Homestay Programme for young people including beginner language learners. The two week programme is open to young people of all ages and has been designed by professional cellist, composer and educator, Adele O'Dwyer. Ms. O'Dwyer has 25 years of teaching experience and is a TESOL certified language teacher.

The Study English and Music in Ireland - Homestay Programme offers a unique combination of language and music learning in a beautiful Irish countryside setting. The programme is designed to be intimate in nature as a maximum of 4 young people are accepted for each two-week session. The programme incorporates language building activities through daily classes in English as well as participation in musical, recreational and home-based activities.
Study English and Music in Ireland - Homestay Programme for young musicians of all ages. The two-week course is offered in June, July and August.

Your English Language School, Dublin

Located in the heart of Dublin City Centre, Your English Language School provides a wide range of Summer English courses for teenagers. Our beginner to advanced level programs focus on encouraging natural verbal communication in English.

We aim to keep student motivation high by making the classes as enjoyable as possible. Students work on projects, play games and act at the same time as learning complex grammar, expanding their vocabulary and building up their confidence in English.

In the afternoons we provide a range of exciting activities and trips such as hiking in the mountains, team sports and swimming sessions as well as city tours, cycling trips, workshops, games and quizzes. All activities are run and closely supervised by our team of experienced teachers and instructors.

English Language Camp Ireland
Courses / Programs
• English Language immersion course for students aged 12 to 17 in County Sligo in the beautiful West of Ireland!

• The programme consists of 3 hours of English tuition each morning. Afternoons are filled with a choice of fun activities including Kayaking, Horse-Riding, Cookery Lessons, Irish Dancing and Zip-Lines in the local forest park!

• Our course is also attended by Irish teenagers who act as Student Guides for our international students. The Irish teenagers attend activities and live with the students in our lakeside accommodation to ensure they have an enjoyable language learning holiday.

• Evenings are spent relaxing and include English movie nights, Quizzes, Board games, table tennis competitions etc.

• English Language Camp Ireland takes place on Lough Arrow in the west of Ireland. The residential accommodation is located on the shores of one of Ireland's most beautiful lakes.

• Our unique weekend excursion takes students to a remote island on the lake where our students along with Irish teenagers, teachers and activity leaders camp overnight.
English Language Summer Camp for ages 12 to 17:

• Irish teenagers also stay in the school and attend all activities

• Maximum of 50 students per course and only 15 students from each country to ensure English is used for communication

• Teachers and activity leaders are all fully qualified native speakers

Camp Yojoa - Summer English School in Ireland
Courses / Programs
Camp Yojoa is for children and young people aged 7 -17 from countries across the world who want to learn and practise English, meet new people, get involved in our fun activities and be a part of our Camp Yojoa community. We believe that camp is a unique and life changing experience which supports the learning and personal development of our campers.

Camp Yojoa is based in a boarding school for local and international students. It is located around 1 hour outside of Dublin in County Westmeath in the midlands of Ireland. The school has fully equipped dormitory rooms in separate locations for boys and girls.

The English immersion classes focus mainly on speaking with some parts of the lessons focusing on reading and writing. We want to improve campers’ technical skills but also their confidence and understanding of the language.

Campers get the opportunity to have an amazing cultural experience by visiting Dublin City.
We believe that by having an immersive English elective our campers always have a unique opportunity to practise and improve their understanding of the language during camp. 

Campers will be put into three groups; beginner, intermediate and advanced based on parent recommendation and an assessment completed by our English teachers on the first day of the elective.
