For over five years, the British Council Teaching Centre has been helping people improve their English. We offer a broad range of English language courses that: help you learn a modern and relevant form of English; are designed to match your ability; can lead to recognised qualifications. The Delhi Teaching Centre has a wide range of courses for adults and young learners. We make improving your English language and communication skills enjoyable. All our English courses are held in our Teaching Centre in Delhi. To register for an adult course you must be 16 years or over. We also offer courses for Young Learners who are under the age of 16. All students take a short test, an assessment of your English level so we can recommend the right course for you. The test takes about an hour to complete and is made up of three parts: a written test, an interview, counselling to find the right course for you.

British Council Library:

Apart from the finest collection of books, the library has educational videos, home videos, periodicals and newspapers from the UK.

The British Council communicates across boundaries and borders, providing a platform for cultural exchange and growth. Towards this aim, the eleven libraries of the British Council regularly host events that foster a greater understanding and appreciation of the arts, commerce, education and technology of and between India and the UK.
