Académie Intérnationale de Management (AIM) is an English-speaking hotel & tourism management school in the heart of Paris, France. Established in 1992, we offer internationally recognized Anglo-American Bachelors and MBA degree programs in the fields of international hotel, tourism & hospitality management. We also offer professional management certifications and internship programs (from 2 days to 2 semesters in length). AIM is also proud to be the very first Hotel Management establishment in continental Europe to introduce and offer internationally-recognized Bachelor and MBA degree programs. All of our courses are taught entirely through English.
Undergraduate and Graduate programs in Hotel and Tourism Management:

Bachelor of Science (BS) in International Hotel and Tourism Management:A 3-year course. The Bachelor of Science Degree in International Hotel and Tourism Management allows graduates to enter the professional arena just as quickly as obtaining specialized degrees in marketing, finance or human resources (Master's, MBA etc). This degree course is taught entirely through English.
Duration: 3 academic years, as in USA, for holders of a French baccalauréat or equivalent.
Entry Requirements: You are a high-school senior or equivalent, or you have already earned your High School Diploma, or you have studied one to two years at the university without attaining a diploma.
First year Core Curriculum:
AIM's course material and organization are designed to develop the student's ability to analyze and synthesize information. This ability is a key factor for future decision-making in an increasingly complex environment.
Second Year Core Curriculum:
The second year entails ample use of active learning methods, requiring assimilation of theoretical principles acquired in class. They include role-playing, group assignments, and on-site research missions.
Third Year Core Curriculum:
Applied, in-depth studies in management and business, with role-playing in a commercial context and audit assignments.
Subjects include:
Introduction to the Hospitality Industry; Front Office Management; Housekeeping Management; Organizational Behavior; Business Computing; Accounting For Hospitality Managers; Food & Beverage Cost Control; Human Resources Management; Strategic Management among many others.
Certification:
Some subjects included on the Bachelor of Science in International Hotel and Tourism Management curriculum can lead to certification in those specific areas.
Professional Certificates of Successful Completion are awarded to students in the Bachelor of Science degree program by the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute (AHLEI). At least five subject areas (out of ten to thirteen) of the curriculum are bilaterally approved each year by AIM and AHLEI.
Two grades are given for each subject area and appear on the grade sheet at the end of the year: One grade is awarded by AIM, the other by AHLEI. The American examinations are administered on an entirely independent basis. They are corrected and graded in the United States.
A grade of 70/100 or higher is necessary to earn a successful completion certificate for each subject area, attesting to the student's high level of achievement in the given area. These certificates are recognized and highly valued at an international level.
Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Hotel & Tourism Management:The 2-year MBA Professional in Hotel & Tourism Management is taught entirely in English. This is a high-caliber specialized professional program designed to prepare students for management positions in large, international hotels and tourism companies.

The organization of the first year program is conceived to value the competence that the students have already acquired, by using managerial knowledge to develop their sense of analysis, research, teamwork and personal initiative.

MBA Entry Requirements:
- Students of the MBA Professional already have a higher education degree in Hospitality ,Science, Literature, Arts
- Students already have professional experience
- Students have a broad general culture
- Students must have a good command of foreign languages
Dual Degree option - MBA + Bachelor of Science degree:
Students who have successfully completed two years of studies, may receive the Bachelor of Science degree from AIM provided that they have also earned four Professional Certificates.
Professional Management Certifications:
- Ranging from 2 days to 2 semesters in length
Includes Academic Management Studies (AMS); Financial Management Workshop; Hotel Revenue Management among other courses and workshops.
Academic Management Studies:
Duration of Program: 1 year (2 Semesters) - For those seeking career change opportunities, a refresher course, or an individualized continuing education program, the AMS Program offers a one-year curriculum leading to AHLEI's Certificates in International Hotel Management.
Requirements: 1) At least two years of university studies with a corresponding degree or four years of professional experience. 2) High level of proficiency in English. 3) Availability for full-time study. Full attendance is mandatory.
Students who successfully complete this program are also eligible to enter the Master of Science program at the second-year level.
Online Hotel Revenue Management Certification Offered by Cornell University:
This online certificate program in hotel revenue management offered by eCornell (Cornell University's online division) provides a holistic view of the application of hotel revenue management concepts and practices to the hospitality industry. Participants who successfully complete the program receive the Hotel Revenue Management Certificate from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration.
The Hotel Revenue Management Certification aims to teach participants to maximize revenue by:
- Applying forecasting and availability controls
- Managing pricing and distribution channel overbooking and group management practices
- Using nontraditional revenue management practices

This online certificate course is open to AIM students and participants of professional seminars and workshops organized by AIM. It is aimed at Hospitality Managers; General Managers; Revenue Mangers; Directors and other hospitality professionals responsible for the financial performance of their organization.
