Hamburg’s youngest part of town, the ‘Harbour City’ with the new concert house, the ‘Elbphilharmonie’, and, close to it, the historic warehouse district ‘Speicherstadt’, lie within spitting distance from the school. Walk for a few minutes in the other direction, and you will find yourself in front of St Michael’s church, the ‘Michel’, Hamburg’s landmark.
