ECI Summer Language Immersion in Spain

Edu-Culture Immersion programs in Spain with a host family:
Edu-Culture Immersion (ECI) organizes unique study abroad programs in Spain for high school & college students (ages 15-21). Our Spanish immersion programs take place in San Sebastian (northern Spain), and Almeria on the Costa Del Sol. We provide unique opportunities for you to improve your Spanish language skills. You will speak only Spanish and will be completely integrated in Spanish family life and culture. ECI also provide summer language immersion programs in France for high school and college students.

Through total immersion with host families, ECI provides young people with opportunities to embrace new cultures, to improve foreign language ability, and to develop confidence. 

No other summer study abroad program provides such an authentic Spanish learning experience.

ECI also offers the opportunity to earn university credit through one of our internationally recognized language schools.

You will live with a Spanish host family and speak entirely in Spanish for 2-6 weeks. You choose your dates of travel and length of stay.

You have two program location options:

Option 1 – Almeria:
Located at the foot of a mountain range, crowned by a magnificent Arab fortress, Almeria’s Andalusian legacy can be seen everywhere. It is a beautiful place in which to spend time soaking up the sun, along with the culture, and all the while improving your spoken Spanish.

Option 2 - San Sebastian:
A much loved beach town on the Bay of Biscay in Spain’s Basque Country. It is known for its beaches, world-renowned restaurants & upscale shops. A perfect place to spend your time immersed in Spanish language and culture.

There are no classes, no group activities, no English. Simply experience fantastic Spanish culture, Spanish family life and Spanish language. This is true language immersion. No other program offers you this amazing opportunity.
