LSI London Hampstead is an English language school offering a range of English courses to students of all levels, from elementary to advanced. General English (Elementary to Advanced Levels):
Our general language group courses are designed for those who want to learn a new language or develop their present knowledge for private, educational or professional reasons. We provide courses at all levels, from Beginner to Advanced. In addition to general language training we offer a University Foundation Programme for students applying to University in an English speaking country, an International School Year Programme and a Work and Study Programme. For those who would like to supplement their group sessions with individual tuition we offer Plus Courses, flexibly arranged and tailored to your needs.
Intensive English Course:
The LSI Intensive 30 course concentrates on all the areas that you need to achieve a much greater fluency in a short period of time. This course is suitable for students who wish to study intensively and get a well rounded insight into the language and country. Students on the LSI Intensive 30 course study the same lessons as described for Standard 20 in the morning. The afternoon classes further intensify the tuition and consolidate what you have learnt, through fluency practice and a comprehensive review of the culture and customs of your host country. For those studying English who work in, or are planning a career in business, we offer the English for Business Course, which can be incorporated into your Intensive 30 course as an afternoon option. Students may also follow examination preparation courses as part of this course.
Exam Preparation Courses:
LSI Examination Preparation Courses offer a thorough study of all aspects of the language, together with focused preparation for the examination. Our staff members and teachers will be happy to advise you which examination is most suitable for you, and have the knowledge and experience to help you succeed. General English (Elementary to Advanced Levels), IELTS Exam Course, Cambridge Exam Courses (FCE, CAE, CPE), TOEFL.
One-to-One Lessons:
Students can take 20 or 30 lessons a week. Our afternoon lessons (included in the Intensive 30 lessons) are often themed and cover many aspects of British culture, history and society. Teachers may base lessons around taking students to a museum or local place of interest.
