If you wish to start out, then an ideal course is the SQA PDA Introduction to Tutoring ESOL. This involves two 40-hour units, and covers both the theory and practice of English Language Teaching with small groups and individual learners.
The PDA Applied Practitioner Course is for those currently teaching ESOL in Scotland, and consists of two compulsory Units and one or two option units.

St Brelade's College, Jersey

• St Brelade’s College is located on the British island of Jersey in the Channel Islands, approximately 20 miles off the French coast and 80 miles south of England. • We are accredited by the British Council and are a member of English UK, along with being a validated course provider of the Trinity College London Cert.
