Writing & Art Vacation Courses in SW France:
- Duration: 1-week

- Fees include 7 nights' accommodation, all meals, course tuition, and day trips.

Course Itinerary:
- Day 1 - Saturday: Arrival day. Introductions and welcome to Manoir de Gurson, time to settle in and relax.

- Day 2 - Sunday: Meet after breakfast for a short tutor introduction/demonstration and then it is off for a mornings drawing and/or painting. After lunch the afternoon is at your leisure to either continue painting or to explore the local surroundings. Lots of opportunity for some one-to-one tuition.

- Day 3 - Monday: Tutor demonstration followed by your own sketching and painting projects in the extensive estate surrounding Manoir de Gurson with more one to one tuition.

- Day 4 - Tuesday: A day trip to St. Emilion in the famous wine region. The whole town is a designated world heritage site. A glass of wine or two or perhaps a cup of coffee whilst sketching some of the wonderful surroundings and visit some of the small, local galleries. Truly a beautiful town!

- Day 5 - Wednesday: A visit to Le Chateau de Gurson for sketching and painting with a picnic lunch and wine tasting, this is a most inspiring spot with some fantastic old buildings.

- Day 6 - Thursday: A trip to the famous town of Bergerac and its wonderful streets and riverside scenery.

- Day 7 - Friday: A free day to perhaps finish off some of the week’s previous work, just relax, or do anything that takes your fancy.

- Day 8 - Saturday: Breakfast and farewells.

• It is a good way to explore Paris, discovering places that one wouldn't necessarily have gone to using a guidebook or following regular tours.
