International Culinary Studio:
International Culinary Studio is a fully online chef college based in Christchurch, New Zealand and are one of only 100 culinary schools recognised worldwide by the World Chefs Association. We provide range of programmes in a variety of culinary fields including Food Preparation, Patisserie, Culinary Arts, Cookery Supervision, and more. You can start learning foundation techniques and no longer take the short cut but the correct principle and be able to improve your skills.

ICS Certificate of Achievement in Food Preparation & Culinary Arts
A maximum of 10 months is allowed to complete this course, with a minimum expected duration of 600 hours for Home Studies.

This course covers both safety at work and in the preparation of food, prepare cook and finish stocks, soups, sauces, fish, meat, poultry, vegetables, rice, egg, bakery products and hot and cold desserts, healthy eating and special diets, costing and menu planning, and the preparation, cooking and finishing of a wide range of commodities and dishes.

Our flexible study options and course duration mean you can complete the course as quickly as you like! This will depend on how many hours you decide to study and do your practical’s each week.

ICS Certificate of Achievement in Patisserie
A maximum of 10 months is allowed to complete this course with a minimum expected duration of 300 hours for Home Studies .

This course covers the supervision of food safety and food production, menu planning and control (including global influences), and resource management with the associated training needs.
