Davis & Elkins College:
Situated in the mountains of Elkins, West Virginia, Davis & Elkins College is a small liberal arts college that offers more than 30 Associate & Bachelor Degree programs in a variety of academic fields. Our programs range from the traditional arts and sciences to professional studies - including nursing and teacher education - as well as innovative programs such as hospitality management and tourism.

Distinctive Programs:
D&E offers several distinctive academic programs that offer unique learning opportunities and experiences. A major difference at D&E is Winter Term, an intensive three-week program during the month of January that allows students to take just one course. The benefits to students are many. For some, it is a chance to explore in depth an intriguing new area of study. For others, it is an opportunity to engage in research or off-campus study.
For others still, it is a window of opportunity to squeeze in additional credit hours within the academic year. Other distinctive programs at D&E include the Honors Program for students seeking an additional challenge, the Supported Learning Program, and the College’s new majors in Criminology and Criminal Justice.

Davis & Elkins College is accredited by the Commission on Institutions of Higher Learning of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. The Associate Degree Nursing Program is accredited by the National League for Nursing and also by the West Virginia Board of Examiners for Registered Nurses.
The College is affiliated with the Association of Presbyterian Colleges & Universities, Applalacian College Association, Teacher Education Accreditation Council, International Assembly for College Business Education, National Association of Schools of Theatre and the Presbyterian Church (USA).
