D&E offers several distinctive academic programs that offer unique learning opportunities and experiences. A major difference at D&E is Winter Term, an intensive three-week program during the month of January that allows students to take just one course. The benefits to students are many. For some, it is a chance to explore in depth an intriguing new area of study. For others, it is an opportunity to engage in research or off-campus study.

For others still, it is a window of opportunity to squeeze in additional credit hours within the academic year.
