Peninsula College:
Peninsula College located in Port Angeles, Clallam County, in western Washington, is a community college offering educational opportunities in the areas of academic transfer, professional and technical, basic skills, and continuing education. The Bachelor of Applied Science in Applied Management program at Peninsula College is designed to enable applicants with AAS, AAS-T, AA, and AS degrees to combine their lower-division technical or transfer preparation, regardless of the discipline, with upper-division credits in business management, resulting in a practical, application-oriented, four-year degree.
If you already have a two-year degree and are ready for a brighter future, the Bachelor of Applice Science Applied Management (BAS) program may be just what you are looking for. The BAS program is a flexible program of evening classes, providing practical professional management skills and two terms of internship in private, public or tribal organizations.

The purpose of the BAS Applied Management Internship is to give students who are well advanced in their undergraduate program the opportunity to experience the links between theory and practice through application in the work setting of the knowledge and skills gained in the classroom.
Our Goals:
Students will demonstrate their knowledge and understanding of the specific requirements of the internship position and needs of the host organization.
Students will:
- Demonstrate skills and knowledge in the focus area (e.g., operations, marketing, human resources) of their internship experience
- Demonstrate the skills and knowledge of effective management
- Demonstrate an understanding of the time commitments and responsibilities of managers in their internship field
- Demonstrate an understanding of the host organization’s structure, policies and practices
- Demonstrate interpersonal skills
