The Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM), located in Philadelphia, PA is one of the oldest and largest osteopathic medical schools. Philadelphia is home to many national historical sites that relate to the founding of the United States. Independence National Historical Park is the center of these historical landmarks. Other historic sites include homes for Edgar Allan Poe, Betsy Ross, and Thaddeus Kosciuszko, early government buildings like the First and Second Banks of the United States, Fort Mifflin, and the Gloria Dei (Old Swedes') Church National Historic Site.

From New York, New Jersey or New England
- Take the New Jersey Turnpike South to the PA Turnpike Exit 6.
- Continue into Pennsylvania onto RT 276 W. Exit onto RT 476 S.
- Continue on 476 S to 76 E at Conshohoken.
- Take I-76 East to the City Avenue Exit (also known as City Line Avenue or U.S. Route 1 South).
- Take City Avenue South two blocks to Monument Road (Adam's Mark Hotel is on the left).
- Make a left onto Monument Road, PCOM's entrance is on right before light. Follow signs to parking garage (flat fee $5).
- Park and use the elevators in the west end of the garage, exit on the 2nd floor. The door at the west elevators leads directly to the front doors of Evans Hall.
