Acupuncture Diploma Course
The power of acupuncture to restore the health of body and mind is increasingly recognised throughout the western world. Acupuncture has an extraordinary ability to change people’s lives. It works by releasing blockages to the body’s “qi”. Qi is energy, or the “life force”, which flows through energy pathways in the body. Modern research suggests that qi Image of Natural Medicine Colleges in Irelandmay be a form of bio-electricity.

Acupuncture works on a deep level to help patients recover their physical and mental harmony. Acupuncture is becoming ever more popular in the UK, and opportunities for both independent practice and within the NHS are growing all the time. Acupuncture is viewed very positively by the House of Lords Committee, the British Medical Association, and the World Health Organisation.

Why Study Acupuncture with The CNM?
The CNM Acupuncture Diploma Course provides high quality training that equips graduates to build highly successful practices. It is carefully structured so each study unit builds on the previous one, allowing students to develop their confidence and skills, and reach their full potential as professional Acupuncturists. Students are strongly encouraged to develop their own unique style of consultation and application.

Herbal Medicine Diploma Course
Herbal medicine has a long tradition in all cultures, and recent research has begun to prove some of the huge benefits of using herbs. Whereas much modern medicine has unwelcome side effects, herbs can provide a gentle, yet powerful, solution to a wide range of physical and emPhotos of The College of Naturopathic Medicine, Dublinotional problems.

As well as relieving symptoms, herbal medicine also works on a deeper level to help patients return to full harmony. Herbal medicine is becoming ever more popular in the UK, as ever more people seek out qualified herbalists.

One of the strengths of The College of Naturopathic Medicine course is that we draw on a variety of herbal traditions: we have expert lecturers in western, Ayurvedic (Indian) and Chinese herbal medicine.

Students study the energetic models of these systems, allowing them to make a multi–faceted, holistic diagnosis. Graduates can to draw on a wide variety of herbs from different traditions, helping them to provide the best possible treatment for their patients.

Homeopathy Diploma Course

Homeopathy is a complete system of medicine which is based on the principle of “The Law of Similars” - the principle of like curing like - a substance which can cause symptoms in a healthy individual can also be used to treat those symptoms when they manifest as part of a disease.

It was developed about 200 years ago by a German Doctor called Samuel Hahnemann - a medic disillusioned with the ineffective and often barbaric treatments of the day.

Homeopaths do not treat physical, emotional and mental symptoms separately but take the view that they are all interconnected as facets of the patient’s suffering. This is what makes homeopathy a truly holistic and refined art.

BPicture of Natural Medicine Colleges in Irelandecause the central principle requires the use of medicines that are often derived from toxic sources, homeopathic preparations are made in a special way which involves repeatedly diluting and shaking the medicines until they contain virtually no trace of the original substance. It is thought that the processes of preparation somehow imprint a characteristic energy pattern or blueprint of the substance onto the water in which they are diluted.

The CNM Homeopathy Diploma Course provides high quality training that equips graduates to build highly successful practices. It is carefully structured so each study unit builds on the previous one, allowing students to develop their confidence and skills, and reach their full potential as professional Homeopaths. Students are strongly encouraged to develop their own unique style of consultation and application.
