Accredited Healthcare Certificate Programs

Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) Program (Hours: 175)
CNAs are vital in patient care as they perform basic nursing skills for people in long-term care facilities, adult daycare centers, hospitals or homes. Our 75-hour lecture/100-hour clinical training prepares you to take the state board exam (written and skills).

Certified Medication Technician (Hours: 68)
CMTs work in long-term care facilities, home health care, agencies and private duty care. Our program teaches you to assist LPNs or RNs in preparing, administrating and charting medications. Our 60-hour lecture/8-hour clinical training is offered in March and October. You must have a CNA certificate to take this class.

Pharmacy Technician Program (Hours: 75)
Learn to assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medication in retail and hospital pharmacies as well as collecting patient info for prescription and billing. Our 75-hour program prepares you to sit for the national exam (PTCB).

Phlebotomy Technician Program (Hours: 184)
Phlebotomists collect blood and urine samples for lab analysis. They usually work under the supervision of physicians, nurses, medical technologists or managers in hospitals, labs or physicians' offices. Our 44-hour lecture/20-hour skills lab/120-hour clinical rotation program prepares you for the national exam.

Insulin Administration (Hours: 68)
If you are a medication technician or Level 1 Medication Aide, this program prepares you to administer insulin in long-term care facilities, home health care, agencies, residential care facilities, assisted living facilities or private duty care. Our eight-hour lecture/two-hour clinical program is offered January, March, June, August and October.

Medication Aide - Level I (Hours: 18)
Learn to administer medication in residential care facilities and assisted living facilities in Missouri. Our 16-hour lecture/two-hour clinical program is offered January, June and August.

Certified Restorative Nurse Assistant (Hours: 60)
Learn to help patients recover range of motion, strengthening, feeding and other activities for daily living in long-term care facilities, home health care, agencies and private care. You need at least six months of employment as a CNA to take this course.
