Established in 1996, we are dedicated to helping students achieve their dreams by providing an exceptional education that enables them to become skilled and successful manual therapists. We also offer Physical Therapy Aide / Sports Rehabilitation and Chiropractic Assistant / Manual Therapist certificate courses, as well as continuing education classes. Financial aid may be available. We also provide job placement assistance.

Advanced Professional Massage Therapy Certificate Program
- Full-time, 37-weeks

Massage Therapists work in a variety of settings, including high-end day spas, nursing homes, fitness centers, sports medicine facilities among many others.

At SOCHi, we focus our teaching on European medical massage therapy, which was developed in Russia and later in Germany some hundreds of years ago.

This method of therapy is non-invasive in nature and has been shown to be extremely effective in treating and preventing injuries, stress and illness. 

In addition, our curriculum is rich with other methodologies, such as: Sports massage; Deep tissue; Swedish massage; Thai massage; Pregnancy massage; Shiatsu; Acupressure; Reflexology; Aromatherapy; Hot stone; Trigger point; Chair massage.

SOCHi is a California BPPE (Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education) Approved School and is accredited by The Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS).

ACICS is listed as a nationally recognized accrediting agency by the United States Department of Education, and is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. In addition, SOCHi is approved by the U.S. Department of Education to participate in Federal Student Financial Aid Programs.
