The Basic, or General, courses are a requirement for every FAA-approved AMT school in the US. It is a series of four courses usually given in the first semester of the two-year program. It encompasses basic knowledge of math, physics, and electrical processing.

- Airframe Maintenance Technology, Certificate of Achievement:
The Airframe courses are a requirement for every FAA-approved AMT school in the US. It encompasses the training of repair to the physical structure of airplanes.

- Powerplant Maintenance Technology, Certificate of Achievement:
The Powerplant courses are a requirement for every FAA-approved AMT school in the US. It encompasses the training of repair to aircraft engines and power sources.

- Airframe Maintenance Technology, Associate Degree:
After completion of the Basic/General, Airframe, and General Curriculum courses, a student could achieve an Associate Degree in Airframe Maintenance Technology.

- Powerplant Maintenance Technology, Associate Degree:
After completion of the Basic/General, Powerplant, and General Curriculum courses, a student could achieve an Associate Degree in Powerplant Maintenance Technology.
