Arizona Flight Training Center:
Arizona Flight Training Center is based at Glendale Municipal Airport, Maricopa County, Arizona, approximately 9 miles north-west of Downtown Phoenix. We provide quality pilot training for both recreational pilots and career pilots. In either case, you will be trained to airline standards. We offer courses from zero time beginner students through to Multi-Engine Commercial certification. We also provide the full range of certified instructor courses.

At Arizona Flight Training Center, we understand what it takes to get you flying, whether you are a beginner, consummate pro, or just want to rent an airplane to go for a hamburger in Sedona. With thousands of hours of practical experience both teaching and flying, our instructors can take you from student pilot to private, commercial, or Certified Flight Instructor in programs designed to build both skills and confidence. With many thousands of hours training pilots to fly, our instructors at AZFTC know that students need a learning environment that is comfortable, safe, and functional. 

Our Cessna 172P aircraft are equipped with the Garmin 430 GPS, one of the finest navigation / communication systems available today for General Aviation. This helps keep costs down while delivering a modern, dependable learning platform. Our Military Transition Courses for the Airline Transport Pilot rating and CFI add-on have been the hallmark of our training programs. We believe that AZFTC provides the best opportunity for military aviators to pass their check-rides in the least amount of time possible.

Our Mission:
Our primary mission is to provide quality pilot training for a reasonable price and within our advertised time frame.

We offer courses from zero time students through to Multi-Engine Commercial certification. We also offer the full range of certified instructor courses. Our Professional Pilot Program, for example, may be completed in six months and includes FAA certifications for Private Pilot, Instrument rating and Multi-Engine Commercial. We believe AZFTC offers the finest pilot training available anywhere in the world, with a great training environment and a very complete program.

We currently have 6 aircraft in our fleet:

- 1 Cessna 152 with new paint, carpeting and radios.
- 3 Cessna 172P's equipped with Garmin 430's
- 1 Cessna 172P with factory radios and avionics
- 1 Seneca I with less than 4,000 total airframe hours

All of these aircraft are maintained to very high standards by our own maintenance crew. In addition to our fleet, we have access to another Seneca when ours is unavailable, and a King Air 90 for our turbo prop training program.

Student Accommodation:
We have a wide variety of student housing available in the area and provide a shuttle service for our students. Our student accommodation is within walking distance of many stores, banks, restaurants and entertainment, and we can help our students obtain short-term housing on a month-to-month payment basis. If desired, multiple students may share an apartment to minimize the cost.
