This 64-hour program is designed to provide students with the "hands-on" training and experience you need to excel in the field of dental and orthodontic assisting. All classes are scheduled on Saturdays to accommodate working students, and are held in a practicing orthodontic office just north of Atlanta to provide a realistic learning environment. What is an Orthodontic Assistant?

While a background in dentistry is very useful, it is not necessary in order to become a orthodontic assistant. Orthodontic assistants take X-rays of the patient's teeth, make impressions for study models and take photographs for the orthodontist to study prior to giving his/her treatment evaluation. They also benefit from having more one-on-one work with the patients.

Entry Requirements:
You must be a high school graduate with a GPA of 2.0 or higher to enroll for our certification for dental assistant courses.We conduct our courses in a practicing orthodontic office, Pickron Orthodontic Care, in Duluth, Georgia, just north of Atlanta.

8-Week Orthodontic Assistant Certificate Course:
