Child Visitation Monitor Program in California & Nationwide

Cherishing My Moments is a nationwide company that offers in-class professional child visitation training all over the United States. We are a professional child visitation monitoring service that understands the importance of spending time with family. Ideal for individuals who are interested in being a child advocate, our three-day training course is in full compliance with the "24-hours of Training", which is inclusive of family and juvenile law basics.

In-Class Professional Child Visitation Monitor Training:

3-Day Training Program Offered Nationwide:
We provide Professional Child Visitation Monitor Training, Train-The-Trainer Professional Child Monitor, CPR/FA/AED and Advanced Safety & Security Training Programs for Professional Child Monitors/Supervised Visitation Monitors. 

Mandatory Requirements of Child Monitors:
- Be at least 21 years old
- Must be CPR/FA Certified
- Have a Livescan done or be registred with Trustline
- Have no record of a conviction for drving under the influence (DUI) within the last five (5) years
- Not have been on probation or parole for the last 10 years
- Have no record of a conviction for child molestation, child abuse, or other crimes against a person
- Have proof of automobile insurance if transporting the child
- Have no civil, criminal, or juvenile restraining orders within the last 10 years
- Have no current or past court order in which the provider is the person being supervised
- Be able to speak the language of the party being supervised and of the child, or the provider must provide a neutral interpreter over 18 years of age who is able to do so
- Agree to adhere to and enforce the court order regading supervised visitations

- Family and Juvenile Law Basics 
- Rules of Court Standard 5.20 for Professional Providers (monitors)
- Do's & Don'ts of the Industry
- Sexual Abuse, Substance Abuse and Mental Illness; it`s impact on visitations 
- Child abuse Reporting Laws (Penal Code 11166, 11165.15)
- Working with the Courts, Parents and Attorneys 
- Cultural Sensitivity: Working with Families of Various Backgrounds, Customs and Traditions
- Monitoring Visitation Role Play 
- Intake Interviews; Screening of Visitations, Clients and Gathering Appropriate Documents
- Safety & Security Procedures
- Marketing; Business Operations and Obtaining Clients for Long Term Sucess

Monitors will receive the following:

Distance Learning Training for Professional Child Visitation Monitors:
This course is a comprehensive Professional Child Visitation Monitor training program designed for those who live outside of California & Florida. We offer comprehensive Professional Child Monitor training to you understand the complexity of this job, so that you can understand and provide the best possible service for your clients.

Course Covers:

- Child Abuse Reporting Laws
- Sexual Abuse, Substance Abuse and Mental Illness; it`s impact on Visitations

Monitors must complete:
- All Reading Materials
- Course Work
- CPR/FA Certification (with proof)

- Final phone interview upon receipt of course documentation

Train-the-Trainer Program - this program will not be available until spring of 2014
This workshop is a practical, how-to overview of the entire training and it's foundation. It prepares new trainers with critical training skills for delivering a comprehensive training program for Professional Child Visitation Monitors.

Sober Coach - Recovery Coach Training:

Prerequisite:

*If you are an individual in recovery you must have a minimum of 5 years in recovery

*A true desire to help those in recovery
