Founded in 1997, Cosmix School of Makeup Artistry was created in order to meet the growing demand for professional makeup schools in South Florida and around the country. Located in Oakland Park, Fort Lauderdale, we are an accredited makeup school that offers quality training in a wide variety of makeup artistry fields including film, TV, fashion, special effects, and beauty among others. Courses include Fashion Makeup Artistry, Special Makeup FX, Production Makeup Artistry, and a range of short Individual Courses.
We are one of the few licensed make up artistry schools in the United States. We are a post-secondary technical institution licensed by the Florida Department of Education and accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC).

In addition to experienced instructors and a variety of makeup course options, we have a number of resources that allow all students studying at our makeup academy to have a truly hands-on learning experience. These include a makeup studio, photo studio, student store, and resource center.
