Learn Russian in Chicago with Multilingual Connections! Located in West Bucktown on the northwest side of the city, we provide quality foreign language instruction for adults and kids in more than 20 languages, including Russian. We offer group Russian classes at our friendly and welcoming language center, as well as private Russian lessons that can be held at our language center or at a location of your choice in the Chicagoland area. We offer private tutoring and semiprivate Russian tutoring for kids of all ages.
Russian is one of our specialty languages that we offer in 8-week sessions. Suitable for beginners to advanced level, our Russian classes focus on building conversation skills through role plays, interaction activities, and cultural discussions. We also offer a Bilingual Boot Camp for beginners that allows you to master the basics of Russian in a one-day workshop.

Situated in Normal IL, part of the Normal-Bloomington community in central Illinois, Illinois State University's English Language Institute provides a comprehensive English language training to students from around the world. Our Intensive English Program (IEP) focuses on practical learning and the special needs of adult language learners.All classes are taught in small groups of two to fifteen students. Loyola University Chicago’s English as a Second Language (ESL) Program offers a rigorous, intensive language training program for people who are serious about learning English. With a progressive curriculum and 18 contact hours per week, the ESL Program is ideal for non-native English speakers preparing for undergraduate or graduate academic work in the United States. Students receive support from experienced language instructors and enhance their English skills as a result of superior training and hands-on learning opportunities. ESL courses are offered during the regular academic year and in the summer. The ESL Program is also able to customize courses for groups who have particular language learning goals and needs.
Loyola's ESL Program offers four levels of courses ranging from academic beginner, low intermediate, high intermediate, to advanced. A sample list of courses includes: Composition & Grammar, Business English, TOEFL Preparation, Reading & Vocabulary, Lecture Preparation, and American English Pronunciation.
