Conveniently located on West 14th Street in Downtown Manhattan, Learn Spanish New York is a Spanish language center founded in 2013. We provide affordable, beginner to advanced level Spanish classes as well as cultural activities and events to those interested in learning the Spanish language. We offer general group Spanish classes, private lessons, DELE exam preparation, and Business Spanish courses as well as Spanish for specific purposes.
Beginner to Advanced Level Spanish Language Courses:
Our courses are reasonably priced yet designed by greatly experienced instructors who specialize in teaching Spanish as a foreign language. Classes are well structured, yet always take place in a relaxed, cordial and fun atmosphere.
Free Spanish Class for Beginners
Every month we offer free spanish lessons for beginners as a way to provide an opportunity to students to get a feel for the spanish language at no charge. No prior experience is needed. In this session you will learn how to introduce yourself, greetings, spelling and much more. Classes are fun and interactive 1-2 hour sessions. No experience required. Limited spaces.
Beginner Spanish Level 1 (A1.1)
This introductory Spanish course is for those of you who have no knowledge of the language yet. You will speak Spanish right from the first class. At the end of the course, you will be able to:
- Meet and greet people, introduce yourself, say goodbye.
- Ask about and convey nationality, languages, professions, fields of study, contact information (address, email address, phone number), a country’s currency, prices of items in a store.
- Request and provide information about one’s family, civil status, age.
- Describe a person (physical attributes).
- Express the existence of something.
Beginner Spanish Level 2 (A1.2)
This course is for those of you who already know the basics. Our Beginner Level 1 course or equivalent experience is required. When you complete this course, you’ll be able to:
- Ask and say what’s the capital of a country, tell the time, and describe public schedules.
- Talk about the geographic location and population of a country, the weather, and daily habits.
- Convey cause, existence, location, tastes and preferences, similarities, and differences.
Private / One-on-One Courses
One on One spanish classes tailored to your needs and schedule. Select the day and time that best work for you and we'll assign an instructor for your private course. 1-2 people, 16 hours.
