Situated in the heart of the historic city of Florence, Accademia Riaci welcomes students from around the world to study art and design with us each summer, Taught in English, Italian or Spanish by expert instructors, our summer courses include glass art, ceramics, painting & drawing, jewelry design, jewelry making, fashion design, culinary arts, and graphic design. You can combine different courses, and college credit may be available for students who study for 2 weeks or more. Private lessons are also offered during the summer months.

n many churches in Italy continues to enchant people. In this summer course, you will learn how to make stained glass art from local, highly-skilled artists.
We teach students of all levels, so even if you have never tried glass art before, we will instruct you.
Depending on how long you choose to attend for, you will have the opportunity to make all kinds of stained glass work, including wall decorations, lamps, stand-covers, jewelry boxes, and mirrors decorated with stained glass.
The course is divided into two parts:
- Classes with highly-qualified and experienced professors: 22 lessons per week in which students learn to understand technique, skills and art with instructors.
- Independent study: 22 lessons per week in which students work independently to develop their own works following the teacher's instruction.
