Delphine Pilarski - Director & Founder:

Delphine holds a Diploma in Art History from the University of Reims, France and a Diploma in Fine Art from New York Academy of Art, NYC, USA. In France Delphine worked as an art director in Art Galleries and the Antiques World (auction houses in Paris). She then moved to Manhattan, and is now in San Francisco since 2008. Her passion and devotion to teach Art and the French Curriculum to young children as a French Tutor was born for the needs of her daughter.

Activities are based on French educational books for preschoolers written by French professional teachers, such as ” L’Ecole maternelle : Programmes-Projets-Apprentissages” ; “Les 1001 Activités pour la Maternelle” and “French Preschool Books & Exercises.” as ” Les cahiers d’écriture : Latéralité et tenue de crayon et Gestion de l’espace graphique “, “Construire les rituels à la maternelle”,”Du graphisme à l’écriture”,”Apprendre la grammaire avec des jeux de cartes". We sing karaoke traditional French songs for little kids “Comptines pour enfants“, practice piano, play puppet theater and cook traditional French recipes. Each child keeps a “un Cahier de Vie” (book of life) where parents can see what the child learns during class. With Pictures of your little student ! A nice souvenir for everyone !

Small Class Sizes:
The low ratio of teachers to students (1:5) allows for small group learning and individual instruction, meeting the needs of each student.

Our school is located in the Richmond district of northwest San Francisco, directly north of Golden Gate Park. There is plenty of on-street parking available. Bus routes include bus 5 on Fulton, bus 31 on Balboa and bus 38 on Geary Blvd.
