Situated in the heart of Washington DC, The International Language Institute is a respected institution that has provided quality language training to thousands of students from around the world for over 40 years. In addition to our beginner to advanced level General French courses, we also provide a specialized French for Travelers program. ILI also offers foreign language courses in Spanish and Chinese as well as a wide range of English (ESL) programs. Our teachers are all native-speaking and experienced. Certificate of Completion: On successful completion of the group language program with the required attendance and 'Passing grade' achieved, students can receive a Certificate.

ILI’s foreign language group programs are accredited by ACCET (Accrediting Council for Continuing Education & Training), and we also offer 2.5 Continuing Education Units (CEU’s) per every successfully completed course.
French Language Courses - Beginner to Advanced Levels:
Regular group classes meet once weekly (or twice for the accelerated class) in the evening or on Saturday mornings for 10 weeks. Each session is 2.5 hours. Traveler classes meet once weekly for 2.5 hours for five weeks.
General French course features include:
• Four 10-week terms per year
• Classes meet once per week for 2.5 hours
• Small class size (max. 9 students)
• Experienced, native-speaking teachers

Immerse yourself in Arabic language and culture in the Washington DC!Conveniently located in Potomac MD, just 14 miles north of Downtown DC, Al Bayt Al Arabi offers specialized Arabic language and culture immersion programs for adult students.
As part of the program, students are housed with a local Middle Eastern family. Students are able to experience a homestay environment with Middle Eastern family, and can practice the Arabic language and have a taste of Middle Eastern culture.

The French Academy was founded in 2013 by two passionate and experienced native French teachers who wanted to provide the highest standards of learning French. They realized that a school was needed in the DC metro area to answer the specific needs of different individuals: adults seeking a tailored-made course, families with children of different ages, and also professionals, for whom flexibility and specific goals are important. Now we are developing into the DC Metro area, offering group classes for adults and children at convenient locations (K Street DC, Chevy Chase MD and Alexandria VA) and flexible one-on-one lessons.Our French language courses follow the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), which sets standards for every stage of learning languages.
