CT Summer Programs for High School Students
ISSOS, Summer School at Yale University, Connecticut (Paused for 2026):
Based on the campus of prestigious Yale University in New Haven CT, New England, ISSOS summer school program offers U.S. and international students (ages 13-18) the unique opportunity to combine learning, creative enrichment and action-packed adventure in northeastern USA. Our 3-week, all-inclusive, residential academic summer camps offer the choice to study one academic subject (ESL English language, Business and Entrepreneurship, Debate, Creative Writing, or Pre-IB preparation) combined with one elective subject (Film, Outdoor Leadership, Photography, Tennis, Theatre). We also offer UK academic summer camps in the world-famous St. Andrews and Cambridge universities.
3-week Residential Summer School Programs:
For U.S. and international students ages 13 - 18 years
Our high quality academic summer programs are designed to cater specifically for the needs of international students. Students study one academic subject and one elective subject:

• Study Skills to prepare for final years of high school and entrance to university / college

Classes meet daily for two and a half hours and unlike other summer schools we offer limited places in order to guarantee small class sizes and individual attention.
Each student combines his or her academic summer program option with one of our unique, in-depth elective summer courses, which are timetabled four afternoons per week.

English Summer Immersion Camp:

iD Tech Camps offers computer science and technology summer camp programs for kids and teens in over 80 prestigious universities in the USA, including Roger Williams University in Bristol County RI, and in Connecticut, Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Summer programs include week-long, tech-related day camps for children ages 7-17. This unique tech camp environment unites students who often have similar interests, providing a foundation for new, long-term friendships.At iD, the curriculum is hands-on. Abbey Road Programs has teamed up with the Princeton Review to offer high school students in Grades 9-12 the opportunity to stay one step ahead of the college admissions process. Our College Admissions ACT/SAT Test Prep summer course is a two or four week intensive test and admissions program designed to tackle the parts of the admissions process that most determine your success when applying to and making the transition to college. These include Standardized testing, Essay writing, the Common Application, the college selection process, and navigating residential life on campus.
We bring together test prep and college counseling professionals to work with you daily (and one-on-one as needed) to tackle the SATs, the ACTs, and the Common Application while you experience college life living in a dorm on the Emerson College campus in downtown Boston, MA.

Lawrence Academy in Groton, (35 miles northwest of Boston) is a traditional New England prep school offering 2-4 week residential Mandarin, Italian, Spanish, and French language Summer Immersion Programs to American students in 7th-12th grades. Study Mandarin, Italian, French, or Spanish while living on campus alongside international students learning English and experiencing American culture. Prior language knowledge is not required for American students.Mornings are spent language classes. In the afternoon, students participate in off-campus and on-campus cultural and sports activities. They practice their language skills with new friends while participating in evening language enrichment activities (skits or talent shows, bowling, mini-golf, etc.). Weekend excursions to Boston, NYC, the beach, or an amusement park allow for additional opportunities to practice language skills and develop lifelong friendships.
Students live in Lawrence Academy dormitories with international roommates and share their meals in the dining hall. This program is a true international cultural immersion experience.

Learn English in the heart of New York City in summer 2024!Based on Pine Street in Lower Manhattan, StudyAston provides junior English camps for students ages 8-17 from around the world.
Our 2, 3 and 4-week summer camps are packed with activities, and can be combined with Dance, Music, Film, or Engineering add-on classes.
Students live with a local family (homestay) or stay in nearby dormitory accommodation.
Our program operates from the renowned Pine Street school in Lower Manhattan. All Dance, Film, Music and Engineering programs are held at the school.

Located in New York State, North Country School's International Summer School (ISS) welcomes international students ages 10-14 from July 5 to August 17 for English language and American culture immersion. Two sessions, each three weeks long, offer experiential language instruction in the morning and enriching activities and excursions in the afternoon. Our experienced teachers, small class size and campus offerings provide an exceptional opportunity to improve language proficiency and experience memorable summertime activities.
ISS is designed around individual language needs within small group instruction. Summer students engage in projects and activities that require them to utilize their rapidly developing English language skills. Summer students become proficient speakers, readers and writers. We carefully balance academics and recreation to ensure that language learning is enjoyable and applicable.
North County School is located close to the village of Lake Placid, in the beautiful Adirondack Mountains. Lake Placid is situated just under 5 hours by car north of NYC.
We offer two three-week sessions with quality English language classes in the mornings and activities / excursions in the afternoons.
