Film Summer Camp for Teens in UK

UK Film School - Residential Summer Filmmaking Course:
UK Film School provides a residential, 5-day summer Filmmaking Course for students aged 12-15 and 16-19 years at Garden House in the historic market town of Stamford is a fantastic location conveniently situated in the heart of England and only 1 hour by train from London's King's Cross Station (Our summer base has plenty of interesting locations for filmmaking). Students will experience all aspects of filmmaking - including script development, casting, location scouting, cinematography, sound recording, and more. Our 1-week Filmmaking summer program includes all activities, boarding and meals.

Whether you're interested in being in front of or behind the camera our Film School will give you an insight into the world of film and TV.

-  Utilise Professional Equipment
Learn how to act to camera and write, produce, direct and shoot a film using professional filmmaking equipment.

-  Communicate & Collaborate with Other Students
Team work is the key and at UKFS we encourage students to communicate, collaborate and share responsibilities.

Experienced Industry Professionals:
All our mentors are industry professionals who have experience working with young people and have undergone all necessary DBS checks.

We can advise and assist with job and college applications, provide references and first hand career advice.

For students aged 12-15 and 16-19 years old.
Students will experience all aspects of filmmaking including:

- Script Development
- Casting
- Location Scouting
- Cinematography
- Sound Recording

This course fulfils the criteria for a residential for the Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award.

Accommodation:
UK Film School have exclusive use of the Brooke House College accommodation ‘Northampton House’.

Boys and girls are split into separate wings of the accommodation and an adult male and female member of the Brooke House staff is positioned in each wing to supervise the students at night.

There are single, twin and triple rooms available and every bedroom is warm, comfortable and fully equipped.
