As a Software Engineer at Maverix, you will be an integral part of our technology team, building and evolving the systems that power our Structured Products and AMCplatform. This is a hands-on engineering role where you will collaborate closely with trading, operations, and product teams to deliver solutions that directly impact our business and our clients. You’ll be working on real-time systems, APIs, and integrations in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

• Build and integrate RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures using service bus patterns
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including trading, operations, and compliance to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Improve system reliability, performance, and scalability across our platform
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration/deployment workflows
• Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to incident resolution

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in software development
• Strongproficiencyin C#, the .NET framework, SQL
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills; comfortable working in an on-site, collaborative environment

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Experience with RESTful APIs, OAuth, microservices architecture, and message-based decoupling (e.g.,Kafka, Rabbit
  
  MQ, Azure Service Bus)
• Understanding of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) including design, coding, testing, and deployment
• Familiarity with financial services, trading systems, or regulated environments is a strong plus
