Symbiotic is the universal staking protocol enabling protocols to streamline decentralizing their stack. The platform allows for fully custom or templated staking integrations leveraging any asset and features such as slashing, redistribution, liquid restaking, and native staking. Over 40 teams including Spark, Hyperlane, and Avail are building on Symbiotic’s universal staking primitives secured by over $1bn in TVL.

We are a tight‑knitted team of experienced professionals at the forefront of crypto infrastructure. Our backgrounds range from security auditing and smart contract development to node operation, and we are supported by Pantera Capital, Paradigm and Cyber Fund.

We are currently searching for a Senior Golang Engineer who will play a pivotal role in the development of our Relay ((Use the "Apply for this Job" box below).) product.

• Participate in all phases of backend and protocol development, including requirements analysis, software design, implementation, documentation, and unit testing.
• Communicate effectively with the team and company partners.
• Integrate new features into the existing codebase.
• Contribute to the estimation, planning, and execution of projects, features, and integrations.
• Review code written by other team members.

• At least 3+ years of experience in software engineering with Golang and blockchain.
• Expertise in CS fundamentals including data structures, databases and API design.
• Strong working experience with distributed systems.
• Experience with LibP2P, Solidity and core protocol development is an advantage.
• Proficient with Docker and familiar with Git Hub CI/CD and basic Kubernetes.
• Writes solid unit and integration tests using Go or similar frameworks.
• Understands and applies software security best practices.
• Organized and collaborative, with experience using tools like Click Up for project management.
