A leading university in Switzerland is seeking a highly motivated PhD student to focus on modelling firn changes at the glacier scale. The successful candidate will investigate firn structure and its impact on glacier mass balance, working with an interdisciplinary team. A master's degree in a relevant field and experience in computational analysis are required. Fluency in English is essential, and knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
The position is based in both Sion and Zurich, starting 1 April.
