THE POSITIONThe Senior Brand Project Manager will lead and deliver key cross-functional strategic projects within the Brand Management team to strengthen and evolve the FIFA brand. Reporting to the global Head of Brand and Creative Services, the role focuses on managing strategic brand initiatives, brand architecture, entertainment brand proposition, and supporting overarching FIFA brand programs across the organization. Acting as a cross-functional bridge between strategy, creativity, and execution, the Senior Brand Project Manager ensures that the FIFA brand roadmap and overarching priorities are effectively translated into impactful cross-functional projects.
These are your key tasks:
- Defining and driving a forward-looking strategy and roadmap for the FIFA brand, and FIFA tournament related brands, in line with the FIFA vision and relevant marketing missions, under the guidance of the Head of Brand and creative services.
- Managing the development process of different FIFA brands, with the aim to launch such brand(s) in a timely, structured and effective manner, working collaboratively with all FIFA internal (
Functional Area
s) and external stakeholders to guarantee correct and consistent brand execution at all touchpoints and across all executions. - Supporting the implementation of processes for the development, briefing, debriefing and implementation of the relevant and applicable FIFA brands.
- Supporting with specific projects (tournaments and/or corporate events or corporate deliverables) taking ownership and responsibility and working with external stakeholders and internal creative services.
- Implementing the relevant brand scheme, which may be through external agencies and working with various other external stakeholders and several FAs within the FIFA organisation.
- Developing 360 Brand value propositions to leverage on FIFA’s always-on brand power.
- With commercial objectives in mind, creating valuable brand propositions, including assets and experiences to deliver towards the needs of a number of stakeholders such as Commercial Partners, Media Rights Licensees, Retail concessionaires and FIFA Licensees.
- Overseeing Brand Development Process from briefing and de-briefing, to sign-off, ensuring the creation of appealing, relevant, compelling and engaging brands that last the test of time.
- Effectively managing the relevant agency (if applicable), ensuring that all the needs of key stakeholders are taken into consideration during the development process.
- Managing the delivery of brand identities and assets (marks, looks and mascots etc.), for all relevant usage (e.g. printed, digital) as well as the delivery of comprehensive brand manuals.
- On final delivery presenting the brand to internal and external stakeholders to ensure full understanding and maximum leverage of the brand potentials.
- Working closely with colleagues from different functional areas to create innovative and state-of-the-art brand launches, as well as brand implementation, ensuring all instructions and guidance for brand guardianship is in place.

The specific competencies we require for this position are:
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in a brand, marketing, or other related function, preferable in a Sport, Entertainment or Lifestyle company or agency with proven track record of deliverables
- Proven experience leading brand development and planning process
- Demonstrated experience in leading brand, and or marketing go-to-market /360 launch plans
- International experience a strong plus
- Bachelor / Master’s degree in Business or Marketing
- Highly organised and structured
- Project management solid competencies
- Brand Management strategic understanding with a goal-oriented and results driven attitude
- Thrives in a fast paced and multiple tasks/ projects environment
- Excellent writing and briefing skills
- Keen interest in and extensive awareness of youth culture: sport, entertainment, gaming
- Clear understanding of the role of brand in a sports and entertainment environment and context
- Understanding of cultural relevance and significance with a sensitivity for cultural differences both in the work environment as well as context and consumer environment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Fluent in English
- Proficiency/Fluency in any other FIFA language is an asset
- Proficient in Word / PowerPoint / Excel
- Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat Suite, is a plus
- Willingness and ability to travel
