Position: Director / MD - Portfolio Management (Energy Infrastructure)
Location: Zürich

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Director / Managing Director of Portfolio Management to lead the strategic oversight and performance optimization of the firm's energy infrastructure investments. This is a senior leadership role, responsible for ensuring operational excellence, value enhancement, and risk management across a multi-billion-dollar portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Oversight: Develop and execute portfolio management strategies to maximize returns and ensure alignment with the firm's investment objectives.
  • Performance Monitoring: Oversee financial and operational performance of portfolio companies, identifying opportunities for growth and efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison with senior management teams of portfolio companies, investors, and internal committees.
  • Risk Management: Implement robust risk assessment frameworks and ensure compliance with regulatory and ESG standards.
  • Value Creation: Drive initiatives for operational improvements, capital structure optimization, and strategic exits.
  • Leadership: Mentor and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
Qualifications & Experience
  • 12+ years of experience in portfolio management, asset management, or operations within energy infrastructure or related sectors.
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale infrastructure assets and delivering value creation strategies.
  • Strong financial acumen with expertise in performance analysis, budgeting, and capital allocation.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Advanced degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
  • Fluency in English;
    German or French is a plus.
