Responsible for overseeing the end-to-end operation of an IT service in accordance with predefined service level agreements. This encompasses the thorough understanding and meticulous tracking of all service dependencies and proactive lifecycle management.

• Part of the 3rd level support for a Datalake house (platform operations)

• Member of an Agile program to support change initiatives

• Support Operations, Support, Maintenance, and overarching Service Lifecycle

• Collaborating closely with 1st, 2nd level, Dev Ops team, and external service providers

• Act as gatekeeper for change in the platform and ensure compliance with IT governance (e.g. Security, Risk Management, Technical Debt Management etc.)

• Improve continuously the service quality, availability, performance, capacity, and knowledge management

• Ability to be self-sufficient and detail orientated in trouble shooting of technical platform components

• Ensure proper tailoring and implementation of non-functional requirements in collaboration with the IT Service Owner and Application Engineer and coordinate the transition into test and production environments

• 5+ years of experience in projects and/or operations of IT applications and/or Data platforms

• Dynamic and agile mindset, being passionate about operations, operational improvements, and automation

• Able to work under pressure and manage a portfolio of tasks

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities

• Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, co-ordinational and leading skills

• Exposure to tools and technologies related to IT service management, Operations and Governance

• Familiarity with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and other relevant frameworks

• Experience / understanding of Data Lake / Data Lake House technology stack (Kafka, Kubernetes, S3, VMware)

• Experience / understanding of Data architecture, data pipelines and data products

• Proven experience in IT service management, operations, and IT governance

• Relevant higher education and professional background within computer science
