Linux System Engineer; m​/w

For a major client based in Zurich we are looking immediately for an Linux System Engineer.

In this challenging role you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Disaster Recovery
• Work with Application Teams and Disaster Recovery Project/Coordinator to plan / execute disaster recovery tests.
• Actively resolve/document issues discovered during DR testing.
• Improve automation of the DR process, to minimize manual effort and speed-up recovery time.

• Solid education preferably in IT or similar
• Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
• Knowledge of Disaster Recovery principles/practices and been involved in DR exercises (such as Business Continuity Testing).
• Knowledge of tools such as: ansible/git to improve automation of the DR process, to minimize manual effort and speed-up recovery time.
• Knowledge of using backup tools (such as Netbackup / Networker / etc) for Disaster Recovery.
• Fluent in English, German is nice to have
