Job Description & How to Apply Below
Location: Zürich

Delta Labs is a University of Zurich startup building Elaiia, the Customer Simulation Layer for customer decisions. We combine scientific depth with entrepreneurial execution to pioneer AI Twins, intelligent persona simulations that mirror real consumer decision‑making. Elaiia helps teams test options before they commit, from product and pricing to messaging, channels, and experience, enabling faster, more precise, and more scalable customer decisions across the organization.

Why

Join Now

Customer pull is strong and we’re scaling quickly. The next step is to make “excellent customer outcomes” repeatable: helping customers run high‑quality studies in Elaiia, adopt the platform as a workflow, and expand into new use cases. This role sits at the intersection of research quality, product thinking, and customer value.

Your Role

You’ll be the trusted partner for customers using Elaiia. You’ll help them run high‑quality simulation studies, interpret results confidently, and translate outputs into decisions. You’ll also build reusable frameworks and best practices that make customer outcomes scalable across teams and accounts. This is not traditional survey operations. It’s customer‑facing, rigorous, and innovation‑driven.

What You’ll Do
  • Translate business needs into studies: turn questions into hypotheses, segments, scenarios, and success metrics.
  • Manage studies end‑to‑end with customers: scope the question, coordinate stakeholders, execute the study in Elaiia, and present results.
  • Provide methodological guidance: define recommended study approaches, guardrails, and “when to use what” across common use cases.
  • Own methodology communication: explain the methodology behind AI Twins and synthetic research to customers and stakeholders.
  • Support customers and internal teams: guide study design and interpretation in customer projects and internal work streams (sales enablement, demos, pilots, case studies).
  • Create scalable playbooks: templates, study frameworks, interpretation guides, and best practices that make high‑quality work repeatable.
  • Support expansion: identify new teams, markets, and use cases where Elaiia creates measurable value.
  • Deliver methodological consulting and enablement: run workshops/trainings for customers and internal teams on “how to use and interpret” simulation‑based insights.
  • Contribute to the innovation roadmap: surface emerging use cases and methodological opportunities based on patterns across customers and industries.
What You Bring (Must‑Have)
  • 3+ years experience in consumer insights / strategy / market research / research consultancy, with strong client‑facing delivery.
  • Strong research judgment: you can design studies, defend methodology, and explain trade‑offs clearly.
  • Comfort with AI‑native methods: you’re curious, experimental, and can explain “how to trust” new approaches.
  • Ability to translate ambiguity into structure: crisp frameworks, clear assumptions, strong storytelling.
  • Confidence working with senior stakeholders (Marketing, Insights, Innovation, Growth, Product).
  • Strong ownership and hands‑on mindset, you drive outcomes, not tasks.
  • Fluent German required; strong English expected (we work bilingually).
  • Experience with advanced analytics, segmentation, causal thinking, or market simulations (even if tool‑specific experience differs).
Nice to Have
  • Experience with or strong interest in synthetic data, simulation‑based research, agent‑based modeling, or AI/LLM‑assisted research (professional or self‑driven).
  • Experience with research tech / analytics platforms / experimentation tools / AI products.
  • Experience building templates/playbooks or standardizing delivery across multiple clients.
  • Customer success experience (cadences, renewals, expansion) or interest in learning it.
Our Culture & Values
  • Hands‑on and interdisciplinary — every team member shapes product and culture.
  • Highly dynamic — we move fast, learn quickly, and iterate openly.
  • High ownership — we take initiative, close loops, and do what it takes.
  • Vision‑led — we are building the AI simulation engine of the future.

Delta Labs is an equal opportunity employer. We’re committed to building a diverse, inclusive, high‑performance team and welcome applications from all backgrounds.

🚀 If you have strong research intuition, enjoy innovation, and want to shape the methodology behind simulation‑based customer insight, we’d love to talk.
