Position:
Co-Founder / Backend developer & Data scientist. Company: mylumio – Health- and Nutritech startup.

Location:

Zürich / Remote (within Switzerland).

We’re looking for a Swiss-based Co-Founder – Backend Developer & Data Scientist to take over the technical foundation of mylumio and lead the next phase of our MVP.

Your mission:
You’ll scale our backend infrastructure, build a robust data sourcing and processing pipeline, and develop the intelligence behind our recommendation engine. You’ll work closely with our co-founders, designer, and external experts to shape a scalable, secure, and smart product experience.

• Develop, optimize, and maintain backend infrastructure
• Build and improve data ingestion, cleaning, and normalization pipelines
• Design and refine the recommendation engine (ML/NLP integration a plus)
• Collaborate with the frontend team for seamless data flow and UX consistency
• Provide technical and strategic input as part of the founding team

• 3+ years of experience in backend development, data engineering, or data science
• Strong skills in Python, Django, Postgre
  
  SQL, AWS, Java, Vercel, Bootstrap
• Familiar with ML/NLP or AI‑driven recommendation systems (big plus)
• Understanding of frontend collaboration (React, Next.js)
• Entrepreneurial mindset – you love solving problems, taking ownership, and iterating fast
• Based in Switzerland
