Our client is a multinational leader in the medical device industry, specializing in digital and advanced technologies that enhance diagnostic accuracy, surgical precision, and clinical workflow efficiency.

We are seeking an AI Model Performance & Validation Specialist to support the validation, cleaning, and performance assessment of AI models used in advanced medical devices, including DTX Studio Clinic and XGuide. This role operates in a highly regulated environment, requiring strong analytical capabilities, a structured approach to problem‑solving, and the ability to work independently while driving your own workstream. You will collaborate closely with the Clinical Statistics and AI Diagnostics teams.

• Clean, validate, and test AI/ML model performance for diagnostic and surgical navigation systems.
• Ensure data quality, model robustness, and compliance with regulatory expectations.
• Plan, prioritise, and independently execute validation workflows.
• Work closely with Clinical Statistics and AI Diagnostics teams on technical assessments and documentation.

• Experience in medical devices or biotech within a highly regulated industry (candidates from similarly regulated industries such as fintech may also be considered).
• Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead own tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Educational background in algorithms, mathematics, data science, or theoretical engineering.
• Hands-on experience with AI model testing, performance metrics, and validation in regulated contexts.
• Experience in biostatistics, clinical studies, or CE marking processes.
• Exposure to dental imaging, digital dentistry, or navigated surgery systems.
