As a Consultant or Senior Consultant in the Insurance / Reinsurance practice at Synpulse, you will support leading (re) insurance companies in navigating complex transformation initiatives. You will play a key role in analyzing strategic and operational challenges, designing innovative solutions, and implementing change – from strategy through to execution. As a trusted advisor, you will collaborate with our clients and act as a driving force within interdisciplinary project teams.

• Support or lead projects in areas such as digital transformation, process optimization, operating model design, regulatory implementation, product innovation, or system migration.
• Analyze business models, processes, and requirements to identify pain points and improvement opportunities.
• Design target operating models, future-state processes, and client-centric solutions.
• Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders and contribute to workshops, client presentations, and project deliverables.
• Contribute to knowledge building, methodology development, and internal initiatives within the Synpulse Insurance practice.
• Depending on your level, you will either support work streams (Consultant) or take responsibility for managing them (Senior Consultant), including coordination of team members and direct interaction with client stakeholders.

• First class Bachelor or Master’s degree in engineering or natural sciences from a prestigious university or university of applied sciences
• Affinity for IT and Artificial Intelligence (AI), and interest in complex systems such as insurance/reinsurance core platforms or integration architectures
• Relevant experience in P&C Insurance, Life Insurance, or Health Insurance
• Strong communication skills in German and English
• Excellent analytical and conceptual skills
• High capacity for teamwork and social competences
• For Consultant: First consulting or insurance industry experience through internships or entry-level roles. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with curiosity and initiative. Confident communicator in client-facing situations.
• For Senior Consultant: Several years of relevant experience in consulting or within an insurance/reinsurance company. Proven ability to manage work streams or subprojects independently. Experience in stakeholder management and mentoring junior colleagues.
