As a Team Lead in the Application Platform Department, you will play a key role in the leadership team, fostering collaboration across SIX’s global teams. You will lead a dedicated product team comprising Platform Engineers and Subject Matter Experts, responsible for our enterprise File Transfer Platform. This platform empowers Business IT teams to develop and operate mission-critical applications that support international financial markets 24/7.

The team is the hub for Managed File Transfer competencies, with an international setup in Spain, France, and Switzerland. We are seeking a Teamleader with strong Product Owner and management experience to deliver high-quality production and test platforms, support regular agile releases, and ensure stable, secure, compliant, and cost-effective operations.

What You Will Do

• Lead and develop a distributed team of engineers across 3 locations, managing 10 direct reports
• Ensure secure and stable operations of our MFT platform by implementing robust monitoring, proactive incident management, and continuous improvement practices
• Drive MFT roadmap and backlog with stakeholders, define team KPIs, and ensure stable, cost-effective, and timely delivery of strategic initiatives
• Shape team culture, improve agile ways of working, and lead automation efforts to reduce manual work and boost efficiency

What You Bring

• Excellent interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills with a strong customer focus
• Proven leadership experience managing diverse, multi-location teams, with willingness to travel 2–3 times per year for team engagement
• Good technical understanding of Managed File Transfer (MFT) solutions such as Axway or IBM-MFT, along with general knowledge of storage, networking, security, Linux infrastructure, and automation
• An open mindset, innovative ideas, willingness to continuously grow and support change
• Fluent in English, German or Spanish is an advantageul>
