Senior DevOps Engineer

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable software solutions to support trading and risk management operations.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools like Git Hub Actions to ensure seamless integration and deployment processes.
• Leverage cloud platforms such as Open Shift to create, deploy, and manage containerized applications. Drive our cloud migration.
• Provide support for our risk management system, ensuring high availability and performance. Have fun finding root causes of problems and fixing them.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including traders, risk managers, and other engineers, to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues, ensuring minimal downtime and quick recovery.
• Continuously evaluate and implement best practices in software development, cloud computing, and Dev Ops.
• Document technical designs, processes, and workflows to ensure knowledge sharing and operational continuity.

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience in Dev Ops engineering with a focus on cloud technologies and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency with Open Shift or similar container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).
• Strong experience with Git Hub and building CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Git Hub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools).
• Solid programming skills in Python.
• Experience working in a trading or risk management environment or a strong interest in financial markets.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.

• Being able to understand German discussions and follow meetings.
• Knowledge of financial instruments, trading systems, and risk management processes.
• Experience with cloud platforms like Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Understanding of security best practices in cloud and Dev Ops environments.
