The Rewards Manager oversees Swiss Business Unit reward activities, ensuring that compensation, benefits, and people-cost processes are effectively planned, well-governed, and aligned with business strategy. The role serves as the key local expert for payroll, incentive plans, pensions, and reward operations, while partnering with the Rewards Center of Expertise (CoE) to drive standardization, continuous improvement, and employee-centric solutions. Success in this position requires strong analytical skills, operational discipline, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights that enhance decision-making and support core talent processes.

Key Responsibilities 1. Rewards Operations & Governance
  • Manage the full cycle of local reward processes including payroll governance, incentive plan administration, pension plan oversight, and employee lifecycle reward activities (offers, transfers, exits)
  • Ensure consistent application of reward policies and guard compliance with local legal requirements, audit standards, and company procedures
  • Drive excellence in reward operations by elevating policies, ensuring meticulous documentation, and fostering structured process controls
2. People Cost Planning & Insights
  • Lead annual and mid-year people-cost planning cycles, working closely with Finance to produceaccurateforecasts and budgets
  • Analyze compensation and workforce data toidentifytrends, risks, and opportunities,providing actionable insights to business leaders
  • Co-Leadworkforce planning, talent processes, and organizational design efforts with reward analytics and benchmarks
3. Collaboration with RewardsCoE
  • Act as the local interface for the global Rewards

    CoE, ensuring smooth implementation of standardized frameworks, processes, and tools
  • Champion simplicity, scalability, and user-centric design in all reward initiatives
4. Employee Experience & Business Partnership
  • Provide guidance to leaders, HR partners, and employees on reward-related matters
  • Advise managers on offer proposals, promotion decisions, salary adjustments, and talent actions with a focus on fairness and competitiveness
  • Partner with HRBPs to support performance management cycles, talent reviews, and organizational change initiatives
5. Operational Excellence & Capability Building
  • Drive continuous improvement of reward processes, systems, reporting, and controls
  • Lead local training sessions to uplift reward literacy among HR colleagues and line managers
Main Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of local

    Swisslaborlaw, tax regulations, payroll and statutory benefits
  • Proficiency in German language
  • University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
  • Several years of experience in compensation & benefits, rewardoperationsor

    HR analytics
  • Proven experience working in complex, matrixedorganizationsor multinational environments
  • Demonstrated ability to run people-cost planning cycles, manage budgets, and provide analytical support to Finance
  • High attention to detail and commitment tomaintainingoperational accuracy
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability toanticipateissues and propose practical solutions
  • Experienced in balancing employee needs, regulatory requirements, and organizational priorities
  • Collaborative working style with the capability to influence without authority and navigate diverse stakeholder needs
Skills and Capabilities
  • Strong knowledge of Swiss compensation structures, payroll processes, variable pay programs, and pension/benefit schemes
  • Proficiency in people-cost forecasting, headcount planning, and compensation analytics
  • Understanding of Swiss laborregulations, reward governance, and local market competitive practices
  • Ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights and recommendations
  • Comfort working with financial models, budgets, and operational metrics
  • Concise, and empathetic communicator with the ability to explain reward concepts to non-experts
  • Relationship-builder whoestablishestrust and credibility with stakeholders at all levels
