Redstone Commodity Search is working with a global metals trading firm looking to hire an Aluminium trader to join their commercial team in Zurich.

• Execute and grow aluminium trading activities, sourcing and selling to clients across global markets.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, buyers, and industry stakeholders in the aluminium supply chain.
• Analyse market data, price trends, and supply-demand dynamics to inform trading strategies.
• Negotiate contracts, structure deals, and oversee trade execution and logistics coordination.
• Monitor aluminium market developments and represent the company at industry conferences and events.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CFA) a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in aluminium or metals trading, preferably with a trading house or financial institution.
• In-depth knowledge of aluminium markets, pricing mechanisms, and LME (London Metal Exchange) operations.
• Proven success in deal-making, client management, and achieving trading targets in commodities.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in German or French is highly desirable, along with strong analytical tools (e.g., Excel, Bloomberg).
